The
Molly Adventures
- Molly has been looking forward to pre-school this week, and
she's loving it now she is back. (I'm sure I could hear collective
sighs from Mums and Dads all over Brisbane at about 9.05am Monday
morning....) Sunday is our normal "play day" and normally
we do something together. I suggested to her we go to a park and
have fun and play ? No. Molly says " Dad, lets go to the
7-11 and get a slurpee." Ok. We can do that. Jump in
the car and lets go... "I want to walk , Dad."
Walk ? You ??? You always get tired - and its too far. "You
can carry me on your shoulders !" NO ! "Ok,
I will walk" All the way ? "Yes Dad, I promise!"
So off we strolled, enjoying all the gardens, flowers etc
and chatting along the way. We walked between 2-3 klms, and we
had a great time. Yes, Molly got her slurpee...and only had 2
little rests along the way. I was proud of her.
