The Molly Adventures - Another week rolls by. How quickly do the days, the weeks , the years go by ? I have to remind myself to make an extra effort every day, every week, to do something special for her. (soon it will be all over !) On Tuesday, Simone went out with the St Ita's pre-school Mums for dinner at Southbank . Well, this gave opportunity for Molly and her Dad to cook up a storm (literally!) in the Wallmer kitchen. We agreed on a dinner for 2 "Asian style" complete with chop sticks. Molly helped in chopping, peeling vegetables and gathering and measuring ingredients. Molly set the table while I cooked. We had a lovely candle lit dinner together. Afterwards, Molly happily accepted the position as chief washer upper (I dried) then followed by some after dinner dancing. Well maybe it doesn't sound much, but we turned an ordinary evening into something special and memorable , by doing things differently and having fun. Now, Molly wants her Mum to go out EVERY night so we can do it again .... :-) Sunday - we watched the sunset and had a play and a picnic in the park at Cleveland. Tomorrow I have been roped into the pre-school to tell the kids about what I do for work, as some of the other Dad have done recently. I'm sure they will think "real estate" is boring untill they get the handouts (balloons and lollipops and colouring in pages!)
