Hi
! Hope you had a great long weekend , whatever you did. Did you
manage to get away? I really love that feeling, when you leave
the city for a break away. The feeling of "weight" lifting
from your shoulders as soon as you hit the outskirts of town,
and the anticipation of what lies ahead. This weekend we went
to Bjelke
Peterson Dam out past Kingaroy
for something a little different. It is a picturesque place.
Today
I was one of the 3 guest speakers at a seminar for the REIQ
Sunshine Coast members. This attracted over 250 Real Estate practitioners
from as far away as the Gold Coast. Once again the subject was,
you guessed it , "Technology". Many Real Estate people
seem to have a phobia of computers and technology. The best people
in our industry are using technology to their advantage. So today
was about sharing experience with others wanting to strive ahead.....

The
Molly Adventures
- Swimming
tennis and dancing
this week all as per usual. We are currently working on Molly's
"listening skills" during swimming at the moment. Its
easy to forget, but rewards work way better than anything else.
(Oh, bribery works ok to :-) Well the highlight of the week was
2 days together with Mum and Dad. Sat pm Molly and I visited "Lollipop's
Playland" for some fun (time-out for Mum). This is an excellent
place to wear out kids. Its just a huge place packed with
things
for kids to do. On Sun / Mon we drove to the Bjelke
Peterson Dam. We
enjoyed stopping at the stalls on the roadside to buy fresh country
produce ( great mandarins) staying in a cabin
by the lake, played on the swings, pushed Dolly
in her pram, went fishing
in a tinny we hired, and listening to all the wonderful birds
and wildlife. We had an excellent time, (even though Mum and Dad
never even made it to the wineries.)
MOLLY SPEAK. Molly asked me this week after swimming "Dad,
do you know how they make sausages ?" I said "No, do
YOU know how ?" Molly said, very convincingly " Well,
first the pigs get fat, and when the pigs get fat, then, they
make sausages, and the sausages come out of their bellies, and
that's how you make sausages......." :-) Yeah ?
