I take it all back. Well some anyway. About winmodems that is..... If you remember, at Easter my modem decided to go on holidays too and failed to deliver a whole bunch of emails. I have found out that the modem I had (Motorola sm56) was quote "as useful as junk". Well, I was wrong about the winmodem bit being the real culprit. Allan from Rosh-tech Computer Systems was quick on the ball to send me some emails after seeing my problems and finally sold me a new modem. (Thanks Allan!) I am now the owner of a new Mitisubishi. Its actually winmodem too, but quote "is one of the best 56k modems available today" Its actually a Lucent winmodem labelled by Mitisubishi. If you need a new computer or other "stuff" why don't you call on the team at Rosh-Tech - the service is great, they are professionals and they certainly know their stuff.
