Hope you had an excellent "windy" week? Hasn't it been just?!? Ekka winds come late, I suppose.

Some on the links to the pics last week were not working :-( Sorry about that - my mistake. Here they are again, but working this time..... The kids had a ball playing on the swings and riding their bikes and scooters around the tracks, and splashing in the water at the "beach". Thankfully the Ekka westerleys were very subdued for most of the day. I'm sure it's not because of good looks...........? This week I was filmed again, this time for a training and presentation video for RE/MAX Corporate office. It will only be screened in house to RE/MAX associates, so you won't get to see this one. Here is a snapshot though.....luckily I had already put my makeup on that day.....hehehe :-)
It was an interesting weekend for our family this week. On Saturday afternoon , we all went an Ethiopian wedding, which followed the traditions of the culture. Congratulations to Elsa and Gashaw! We wish you all the best. The food (curries) , the traditional alcohol, the music complete with funky live band with synthesiser also playing "traditional styled" electrified instruments, and the tribal style dancing was all exciting in its uniqueness. Sights sound and tastes to remember. Sunday - Molly and I had another fantastic day. We spent the whole day together and left Simone at home (case of the flu) Well, we started off with a drive through carwash (and an ice cream of course!), then we did a "park run" and for somewhere different we went to Forest lake. Park run =- visit as many parks as you possibly can! We started in one park, played on all the stuff and then Molly rode her bike around the lake to the next park and then played there. After we had afternoon tea and drove to another park on Oxley Rd. Molly had heaps of fun playing on the swings and slides etc. Give Molly the camera and she takes pics of her favourite things - Dad, bike, Pole?!?! She is getting better at taking photos - maybe she has some talent in this area? Other news briefly - got myself a palm pilot this week, no email next week (holidays), I am a guest speaker on the technology panel at the National RE/MAX Sales Conference at the Sheraton tomorrow, as well as featuring on some video footage for the convention. Phew ! What a week!
