Have you updated you signature files recently? If you know what I am talking about please go directly on to the next paragraph. If you think that I am talking double Dutch please read on! What I am referring to is the "update" files for virus detection programs. Did you know that unless you update you signature files regularly, your virus scanner can still leave you wide open to still get computer virus infections? New viruses are created on almost a daily basis. Some even make news headlines. Cures are produced almost as quickly once the new viruses are examined and decoded. Then the files which detect the particular virus are updated (signature files). Some people think " I have a virus scanner, so I am safe". WRONG! You must update the files to be protected. Don't have a virus scanner? Try Inoculateit Personal Edition Its free for personal users and updating is easy(Also download the update after installing). Over the last few weeks I have had more and more people send me emails with (detectable) viruses attached so I am sure that some people don't update their files. If your virus scanner needs updating, look under the menus for "update" and go for it! Most programs will download the update from the web. No one likes to talk about viruses, but its real and we should all take steps to prevent any spread. (NB. All computers run by Peter Wallmer and www.brisbanehomes.com.au are regularly virus scanned and signature file are updated weekly for you protection)

Our meeting last week with a town planning consultant to discuss the new "City Plan" went well. I must admit its still a little confusing but some knowledge is better than none. Next email I will summarize the new "zonings" (which are now not called zonings any more)

Have you got your finance sorted out for your next purchase? It certainly pays to talk to the right people.
