Ekka time. Well you know how it is, how you say you don't wanna go again, because you remember all the stuff from last time - home with a headache and no money, bought too many showbags, too many people, got pushed and shoved, the Ekka flu, got sick on the rides, tired, cold from the westerly's, sore, oh, did I mention the headache? Mmmm..... Well after much coaxing from Simone, our family went to the Ekka on Sunday. Molly had never been before, so we were not sure how she would go. Well, now I remember what its all about. The look of sheer joy on Molly's face as she took in the show time experiences for the very first time, they way she dragged me over to every set of clowns we passed, the thrill of her (and me) winning toys , the seriously cracked up laughter on the dodgems that we drove together, the animals, all the entertainment that made her smile and laugh, carrying her on my shoulders so she could see above the crowd, and of course all the rides. Yes, all the childhood memories came flooding back to me and I remembered what show time is all about. Kids, families, fun, laughter, and the stuff memories are made of. Well now the executive family decision has been reached to go to the Ekka every year :-) Thank you Molly........
